In the Eyes and Ears of the Lord

He shall not judge by what his eyes see,
or decide by what his ears hear;
but with righteousness.
Isaiah 11:3-4

Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, `Brother, let me take out the speck that is in your eye,' when you yourself do not see the log that is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take out the speck that is in your brother's eye. (Luke 6:41-42)

Before him no creature is hidden, but all are open and laid bare to the eyes of him with whom we have to do. (Hebrews 4:13)

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf unstopped (Isaiah 35:5).

You shall weep no more. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when he hears it, he will answer you. And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself any more, but your eyes shall see your Teacher. And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, "This is the way, walk in it," when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left (Isaiah 30:19-21).
